I recently just visited a site for teachers, called "Partnership for 21st Century skills". I was amazed to see how rapid the technolgywithin the states are growing, this really surpised me. This website a great way to see others organizations who are thinking the same way like you. this website is also a absolutely wonderful place for resources of technology. I visited the resources page and noticed that other business have partnered with this organization to show thier committment to sharing the technology around.
As a teacher this implies to me that that there's a light at the end of the tunnel, and very soon all our school will be technological efficient.

  1. Hello! This is Tami. I was amazed at how many businesses are affiliated with this partnership, too! I do hope that there will be technology in all of our schools very soon, but I am still worried about the money situation. Are those businessses putting money into this partnership to help bring this technology into the schools who cannot afford it? I wondered what their role is? I had trouble understanding the page with the lessons on it? Did you find it? Did you understand what all was going on with it? There is still so much going on with that site that I am trying to figure out. We will have faith!

  2. Have you ever heard about this partnership before this class? It was amazing to see all the businesses that have joined forces trying to implement 21st century skills. Did you find any resources that you can use in your classroom? If so, which one(s)?

  3. Hello,

I agree that this is a light at the end of the tunnel. But somethings have to be changed to become more teacher friendly. The website was not teacher friendly at all. I did not review the resources, but I will and see if they can be utilized in my classroom. I love the fact that someone is thinking for the future, hopefully we can all get on the same page in order to help our students.

  4. I also thought the page was not very teacher friendly, but still very interesting. It is great to see that more people are getting involved in the education process. It is very difficult to teach our students with out any outside support. It seems as though peopel are finally realizing that we all need to work together in order to have a better future for our children and and grand children.
